Located at the Missouri Botanical Gardens, Garden Glow has over a million lights that will adorn the garden’s most iconic landmarks. The Climatron, Kaeser Memorial Maze, Central Axis, and Tower Grove House are a few of the many locations that will be glowing with exciting light displays.

Garden Glow also has drinks, desserts, and more! If you feel like you could boost your holiday fun as you watch the Christmas light displays, Garden Glow sells hot chocolate, s’mores, and traditional snacks as well!

For these strange times, Garden Glow commits to safety regulations without sacrificing any fun. Social distancing, face coverings, and hand sanitizing are standard.

3. Holiday in the Park

The Six Flags in St. Louis transforms into a spectacular land of lights at Holiday in the Park. This event will be celebrating it’s 5th year, abiding by all the health regulations so you can worry less and enjoy more!

Some of the highlights include Story Time on The North Pole Train, where Mrs. Claus and her elf assistant do a little reading to the travelers as the train makes its way around the park. You can also use one of their festive photo spots to snap a picture and keep the memory of light-filled fun forever.

If that wasn’t enough, there’s also s’mores Galore! Grab a s’mores kit and find one of the many fire pits to warm up and have this classic winter treat.

4. Festival of Lights

One of the most popular Christmas lights in St. Louis can be seen at the Festival of Lights. Don’t be fooled by this more whimsical display, it may not cover as much land but it still packs a ton of fun.

Head over to Kiener Plaza downtown and watch as thousands of lights get shined onto St. Louis. There’s also an animated projection show! For a family who wants to find something a little more down to earth, this is your place.

5. Way of Lights

If you love the tradition of Christmas and all of its historical significance, Way of Lights might be the display for you. Located at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, this event focuses on telling the Christmas story using more than a million lights as well as other electric art displays.

Outside of just the lights, there are many other activities to enjoy. This includes carriage rides and a petting zoo! Some of the biggest sights here for visitors include the lighted nativity scene and the life-size biblical statues.

6. Winter Wonderland

Another fun drive-thru option is Winter Wonderland. Known for its usual walking tours, things are switched up this year. Instead of walking, you can take a carriage ride or a vehicle through the light display. This event has been around for more than 30 years at the one and only Tilles Park.

Although they don’t serve food and drink, feel free to make your own delicious hot chocolate and come through for an enchanting light display.

7. Santa’s Magical Kingdom

Last but certainly not least is Santa’s Magical Kingdom. Make your way over to Jellystone Park and enjoy animated scenes as well as four million shimmering lights. This entire event is amazing for kids, full of childhood wonder and excitement.

Santa’s Magical Kingdom also has a charming section called Elfland which is a small village that features elf acrobatics. Although the typical interactions with Santa are canceled, your little one will still be able to interact with him by dropping off letters and waving to him from the car.

Santa’s Magical Kingdom is another great choice for the family if you want to stay inside your car, cozy and safe, while taking in all the magnificent lights.

Holiday Light Tours That Are Fun for the Whole Family

This year has changed the way a lot of events are done. Luckily for holiday light displays, there was almost always a drive-thru factor. This is particularly convenient now that it’s important to stay safe while having fun.

As you can see, there’s no shortage of options when it comes to holiday light tours in St. Louis. Grab the kids and decide which one you’d wanna go to – maybe even all of them! Regardless of what you decide on, you’ll be sure to have a holly jolly good time.

Why Your Company Should Use a Limousine for Corporate Transportation

Limousines are a vehicle that everyone wants to have a ride in once in their lifetime. They’re known for being classy and cool, and often a status symbol. But best of all, they’re safe and reliable. Did you know that they’re a great choice when it comes to modes of corporate transportation?

They’re popular for many good reasons. Want to learn more about how limousines can benefit you when traveling for corporate reasons? Read on to learn how.

They’re Always On Time

As a businessperson, you know that one of the most important things in the corporate world is to be on time.

A professional and courteous limo service will always arrive early to pick you up and drop you off.

Another great thing about this is that chauffeurs are knowledgeable about the area. They know how to get you there in the fastest and most efficient way.

This is why limousine services are so popular for corporate transportation. Punctuality shows that you care about the other party. Arriving in a limousine just adds to your style!

Make a Lasting First Impression

When you and your employees show up for the function you want to make sure that you make an excellent first impression, you want to impress others and show them that your company is doing well.

This will show potential clients that your company is successful and great to deal with. It can also show them that your company is financially sound, which is a great trait for a business to have.

It also shows others that you care about your employees. By providing them with a nice mode of transportation, it shows that you value them.

With a first impression like this, you’ll be winning clients and the love of your employees.

The drivers will also make a great impression on you and your business partners. They’re dressed in formal attire fit for corporate business. They’ll assist you with any bags or luggage, and they’ll be professional and courteous.

If a good first impression is what you’re looking for, a professional limo service and driver will help you achieve this.

Time for Other Important Tasks

In a limousine, you don’t have to worry about driving. Instead, you can use the time to do other things and improve your efficiency.

If you’re on your way to a very important presentation, the time in the limousine can be used wisely. Employees can start going over important speeches or presentation material with their coworkers.

Or, if you’re on your way to a conference, you can work on a laptop or tablet during the drive.

When you save time by using a chauffeur, you get more time to deal with clients or meet with coworkers. Or if you’re feeling nervous, you can just use the time to relax.

Driving is just one less worry that needs to be on your mind.

Bring a Group

If you need to bring a group of employees with you, a limousine is a perfect choice. It’s spacious enough to fit everyone into the back.

Everyone will have their own space to sit and feel comfortable.

At Corporate Transportation, we have different limo sizes that can accommodate 8-13 people. There’s even space for everyone to bring along luggage if needed.

The setup of the limousine also makes it easy for passengers to communicate. That’s great for coworkers who need or want to talk with others during the ride.

For group accommodations, you can’t go wrong with a limo.

Flexible Scheduling

Sometimes your day doesn’t go as planned. Meetings can run late or the weather could have taken a turn for the worse.

The good news is that limousine services can accommodate this.

You can inform them of the issue and ask if they can reschedule you. It’s an easy fix that is there to help you and your company.

A limo service can also accommodate you if you need service last minute. Usually, there are multiple vehicles on the road waiting to be dispatched.

If you’re in immediate need of service, a corporate transportation group can help you out.

They’re Safe

Limousines are a safe way to get to and from your destination.

Before hitting the road, they are looked at to make sure that everything is in working order. If it’s not, then one that is will be sent to pick you up.

Many people have concerns about chauffeurs. At Corporate Transport, all our chauffeurs are screened before ever driving for us. We ask them to do a background check and look at their driving record.

Once they’re on staff, we also ask them to take part in training and ensure that they are fit to drive the limousine.

This means that you can rest assured that you are getting into a limousine with a top-notch driver. They’ll get you there and back safely.

Saves You Money

With limos being so spacious, you can fit many people into one without issue. This is one of the best ways to save money on corporate transportation.

If you have to call many taxis or Uber drivers to accommodate your large group, it’s going to cost a lot of money.

By choosing to go with a limo, there’s just one car involved. That means that you won’t have a huge and complicated bill at the end of the day.

Fitting a limo service into your budget will end up saving you money.

Choose St. Louis’s Most Professional Corporate Transportation Group

The benefits mentioned here are just some great reasons for choosing a limo service. When it comes to corporate transportation, you need to choose a service that you trust.

We’re proud to serve you for all your corporate needs here at Corporate Transportation. We can get you to and from your destination safely and in style. Our service is one that you can depend on.

Getting Where You Need to Go During COVID-19: 8 Travel Safety Tips

The coronavirus pandemic has affected all types of travel, from leisure vacations to business trips. In fact, 65% of companies across the globe have canceled or rescheduled meetings and conferences. Since the best way to slow the spread is to stay put, that shouldn’t come as a surprise. While the safest option is to reschedule your trip, sometimes that’s not possible. If a family member or friend needs help, you’ll do whatever you can to get there. Luckily, these travel safety tips can make the journey as safe as possible.

Read on to learn how to keep yourself safe when traveling during the COVID-19 pandemic.

1. Know the Conditions at Your Destination

Before you book your trip or make any concrete plans, see what the conditions are like at your destination. What’s the infection and hospitalization rate? What kind of restrictions do businesses have in place?

After all, you don’t want to arrive at your destination only to find out that everything’s closed. It’s also at this point where you can decide whether or not the trip is worth taking.

If you’re traveling to a state in the U.S., check that state’s public health website. Some states have 14-day quarantine requirements for when you arrive. You can also check on social media to get a sense of the activity in the area.

If you’re staying at a hotel, call ahead and learn about their policies on disinfecting and mask-wearing.

2. Pack the Right Hygiene Products

Packing for any trip can be time-consuming, but during COVID-19 you also need to pack the right hygiene products. No matter where you’re going or how far you’re traveling, you’ll need to keep your hands clean. Plus, you’ll need to disinfect any surfaces you touch.

You’ll want to stock up on disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, tissues, disposable rubber gloves, and plastic ziplock bags.

If you’re road tripping, know that you might have to rely on gas stations and rest stops to use the bathroom. Wash your hands thoroughly and use your hygiene products to wipe surfaces.

If you’re flying on a plane, the TSA will let each person bring up to 12 ounces of hand sanitizer in their carry on bag. Even if you’re not flying, keep hand sanitizer in your bag or in the car where you can get to it. Use it whenever you can’t wash your hands.

If you stay at a hotel or a rental house, use disinfectant wipes to clean hard surfaces like tables, light switches, and remote controls. The disposable gloves are great for pumping gas because you can throw the glove away when you’re done.

3. Always Wear a Mask

You’ll also want to pack plenty of masks. Disposable surgical masks and homemade masks both offer protection.

You should wear a mask any time you’re in public and you can’t stay at least 6 feet away from other people. That means stores, gas stations, restaurants, and rest stops.

Most cities and individual businesses require you to wear a mask to come inside. Even if they’re not required, you should still wear a mask to protect others and yourself while you’re traveling.

4. Wash Your Hands Often

The CDC recommends washing your hands with soap and running water for at least 20 seconds. You should do this after returning from a store, visiting any high-traffic area like an airport, or blowing your nose.

Whether or not it’s during a travel day, try to avoid touching your face. Good hand washing practices is one of the best ways to protect yourself.

You can also wash your hands throughout the day as you think of it. When in doubt, wash your hands.

If you can’t wash your hands, use hand sanitizer and rub it in until your hands feel dry.

5. Bring Your Own Food When Possible

Whether you’re going on a road trip or to the airport, pack your own food. This will cut down on your interactions with other people as well as handling money.

Plus, if restaurants and stores are closed, you’ll still have something to eat.

If you’re traveling by road, make sure to take plenty of bottled water with you. Staying hydrated is important and you won’t have to stop at gas stations as often.

If you’re traveling by plane, pack an empty water bottle instead. TSA limits the amount of liquids you can bring through security. But, you can refill your water bottle once you get past security.

6. Avoid Places Where Social Distancing Isn’t Possible

Whether you’re taking a road trip to a national park or you’re flying to visit family, avoid crowded places when you can. The CDC recommends keeping at least 6 feet away from other people.

To keep yourself as safe as possible when you travel, only visit places where people are following social distancing. You might need to change your plans or return when it’s not as busy. Keep your plans flexible so you can stay safe.

For example, if you get to a restaurant that doesn’t have outdoor seating, don’t feel pressured to stay. Instead, you could head to a grocery store deli and enjoy an outdoor picnic. If a tourist attraction is too busy, try to return the next day when it’s not so busy.

You should also avoid going to large parties, wedding receptions, or any other big gatherings.

7. Book Private Transportation When You Can

A great way to lower your chance of exposure is to book private transportation. If you need airport transfer, book a private car service instead of taking public transportation. This will cut down on your interaction with the public.

You can also call ahead to learn about their cleaning or mask-wearing policies. When you’re traveling during the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s important to be proactive. Learn what to expect so you can prepare for a safe trip.

8. Pay With Cards Instead of Cash

It’s also a good idea to pay with a debit or credit card instead of cash when you’re traveling.

This will cut down on your close contact with other people. Plus, the money itself can harbor dirt and bacteria. Paying with a card will keep your hands cleaner.

After paying with a card, you can use a disinfectant wipe to clean the card. Then, use hand sanitizer to clean your hands.

Make Travel Safety a Priority

Travel safety is always important, but it’s even more critical during the COVID-19 pandemic. No matter the reason for your trip, you can enjoy peace of mind if you stick to these travel safety tips.

If you’re in need of high-quality transportation, Corporate Transportation can help. We offer airport transfers, shuttle services, charter buses, limo service, and more in the St. Louis area.

7 Reasons to Choose a St. Louis Limo Service

Is there anything more glamorous than traveling from place to place in a limousine? For a long time in our culture, limos have been associated with wealth, success, romance, and status. Whether you’re looking for transportation to your wedding or to a business meeting, there are a lot of good reasons to hire a St. Louis limo.

Let’s take a look at 7 reasons why a limo service might be right for you.

1. Safety

When you hire a limo rental in St. Louis, your driver will be experienced and familiar with the area. You won’t have to worry about getting lost, getting used to local traffic patterns, or being distracted by the other people in the car.

Hiring a cab or an Uber can be a gamble. Hiring a limo is a much safer option. This means that you can think about what really matters rather than worrying about your safety.

If you’re out on the town celebrating, the last thing you want is for one of the people in your party to have to hold back from having fun so they can be the designated driver. When you hire a limo, everyone can participate in the celebration and you can arrive at all your destinations safe and sound.

2. Efficiency

Are you looking for a wedding limo in St. Louis? No matter the event you’re heading for, you know that time is of the essence. This means that arriving late is completely out of the question.

When you hire a limo in St. Louis, MO, you don’t have to worry about getting lost or arriving late. Since the driver will be familiar with the area, they’ll avoid congested routes that could hold you back.

The last thing you want is to be late to your own wedding. It’s best to hire a professional who can get you there on time and in style.

3. Travel Together

If you’re traveling with a group, why not all get to travel together? When everyone travels separately, you inevitably always get stuck waiting around for that one friend or coworker that can’t ever seem to be on time.

Whether you’re heading to your wedding, bachelorette party, a special night on the town, or a business meeting, riding in a limo is a very special way to spend time together. This is a great time to bond, discuss plans, and generally, just have a good time.

4. Avoid Parking Stress

One of the most stressful things that can happen is when you arrive on time in a location only to find that there’s nowhere to park. You spend what feels like ages looping around blocks, getting further and further from your destination as you follow one-way streets trying to find a spot. Even if there is a garage or a lot, city parking can frequently be incredibly expensive.

When you hire a limo service, you don’t have to worry about parking at all. You’ll be dropped off and picked up right at the door like the VIP you are.

5. Affordability

While limos are seen as the pinnacle of luxury and wealth, renting a limo can actually be very affordable. When you consider the cost of other modes of transportation such as renting a car or hailing a cab and factor in how much time and effort a limo saves you, it’s an affordable choice to make.

This is particularly true if you’re traveling with a large group where you can split the cost. Think about how much it would cost in cab fares, parking fares, and gas to get all of you to your destination. Hiring a limo often reduces the complexity of your outing and saves money.

6. The Luxury You Deserve

Let’s be serious: it’s a little silly to even try and compare a limousine to a taxi cab. Riding in a limo is luxurious, glamorous, and memorable while taking a cab is drab, unexciting, and forgettable.

When you hire a limo, you can choose which package you’d like. This means you can pick out which perks and extras you want included in your package.

There’s nothing better than feeling like a true VIP. Renting a limo in St. Louis, MO, is one of the best ways to have that experience.

7. Focus On What’s Important

Whether you’re traveling for business or on your way to the altar, there are more important things for you to focus on than the logistics of driving from one place to another. When you are riding in the back of a limo, you can pay attention to the things that are most important to you, whether it’s discussing an upcoming corporate presentation or spending quality time with your wedding party.

Filling A Need For Baby Boomers

Express Mobile Transportation Fills the Need of Aging Boomers and Caretakers

The ever aging Baby Boomer generation is expected to double by 2025.  As this generation ages, it brings along a whole set of challenges for their family members.   An AARP study found that the average caregiver is a 49-year-old woman who works outside the home and spends nearly twenty hours a week providing care for an aging parent or other family members for at least five years.  The person offering the care has the burden of lost work hours or forced into early retirement to provide the care needed for their loved one.

I encountered this experience first hand when both in-laws became terminally ill at the same time.  Fortunately, we had an active family unit, and many of us pulled together to orchestrate a manageable schedule for everyone.    Sadly, not all families have this same support system.   The challenge came with the need for multiple doctors’ appointments for both parents.    I would find myself leaving work early to take one parent to these appointments and then returning him or her home hours later.  There were many weeks when this became a three or four-day task, removing me from my office for a minimum of four hours each time.

One day I had a thought that I remember well…., “If I could find someone to transport my parent to and from their doctor’s appointments and I could meet them at the appointment, it would allow me a few extra hours at my desk!”   As I looked around the waiting room of the practitioner’s office, it appeared many people were in my exact situation.

My personal experience with this challenge and the knowledge of the passenger transportation industry led us to create Express Mobile Transportation.  Our family business, Executive Transportation, has existed for more than sixty years.  Within that time we have become experts in moving passengers safely and efficiently.   Our corporate clients trust us to serve them with the highest level of care and we are committed to treating our senior and mobility challenged clients with the dignity they deserve.

The rapid increase in aging Boomers brings about the opportunity for Express Mobile to partner with those caregivers who struggle with time constraints.  Express Mobile’s service is designed to bring peace of mind in knowing that a family member’s care is the same as if a family member was present. The goal is to relieve the pressure from the caregiver for the need to lose work hours, the possibility of having to rely on the unpaid “Family Leave Act”   or worse forced early retirement.

We understand that life is full of challenges; our main goal at EMT is to help empower you to overcome those challenges. Whether you have a non-emergency medical need such as physical therapy or a doctor’s appointment, or if you simply need wheelchair assistance going shopping, getting to church, or attending a family gathering, we are here to help.

Time with those you love is invaluable. Don’t let lack of transportation keep you from a happy and healthy life.

Don’t Miss A Moment.

Your family member’s comfort and safety is our number one priority. For reservations: 859-655-4600

Our Commitment to Safety: Installing Partitions in All Rudy’s Vehicles

Over the past few months, the Rudy’s Executive Transportation team has been working hard to ensure our passengers enjoy the safest, most sanitary car service possible – not just during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, but far into the future. We’ve implemented a variety of strict protocols, including stocking our vehicles with CDC-approved hand sanitizers and thoroughly cleaning all passenger areas between uses.

As the Coronavirus situation unfolds, Rudy’s will continue to update and enhance our services to better protect our customers. Read on to learn about the latest addition to our COVID-19 protocol.

Vehicle Partitions to Improve Passenger & Driver Safety

To further enhance the cleanliness and safety of our vehicles, Rudy’s has begun installing protective partitions between driver and passenger areas. These clear dividers allow vehicle occupants to maintain an unobstructed view of the road while helping to ensure proper social distancing. This is beneficial for the health and safety of both our passengers and drivers.

In addition to our vehicle partitions, we also remain committed to upholding the highest standards for hygiene and cleanliness. We make sure each vehicle is thoroughly sanitized and disinfected after each use. That way, our passengers can schedule the executive car services they need while remaining safe and healthy.

News and Information

Coronavirus: Health Tips & How Rudy’s Is Working to Provide Sanitary Car Service

With the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) dominating the news and placing people at risk, Rudy’s Executive Transportation urges our customers and members of our community to stay safe. We’ve been following the news and reading the Center for Disease Control (CDC) website to learn more about how we can avoid infection and provide the safest service possible for our customers. The CDC has posted the following recommendations to prevent illness:

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. When no soap and water is available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60 percent alcohol.Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.Keep your distance from people who are ill and practice social distancing as needed.Remain at home if you are sick (except to receive medical care).

Check the CDC’s website frequently for further updates and information about how you can protect yourself. If you experience any coronavirus symptoms, including a fever, cough, and shortness of breath, and have been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19 or have recently traveled from an area with an outbreak, contact your doctor as soon as possible.

Travel Ban Information for International Travelers

Many of our customers are international travelers who regularly visit other countries for work and play. At this time, the U.S. Department of State recommends avoiding nonessential travel to certain countries, including China, Iran, and most of Europe. If you have a trip to another country coming up in the next few weeks, check the State Department website for regular updates. Do not travel to another part of the world without first becoming informed about the spread of COVID-19 in that area.

Additionally, the White House has banned travel from 26 European countries. The ban will be in place for 30 days and is effective March 13th, 2020. U.S. citizens will be allowed to return from these countries but must travel through specific airports where they will receive screening for the virus.

What We’re Doing to Protect Our Customers

The Rudy’s team understands your concerns surrounding COVID-19. That’s why we’re taking every precaution to ensure our vehicles are safe and sanitary for passengers, including:

Ensuring all cars have an alcohol-based hand sanitizer (containing at least 60 percent alcohol) readily available and within reach for passenger use.Cleaning and disinfecting all passenger areas and frequently touched areas (including door handles, climate control knobs, and seat belt buckles) between trips using a CDC-approved cleaning spray or wipe.Encouraging all drivers to adhere to high standards of personal hygiene.
